Georgia Secretary of State Joins SPS Atlanta 2025 to Spotlight Automation in Southeast Manufacturing Growth

17 Sep 2025

On September 17, SPS Atlanta 2025 welcomed the Georgia Secretary of State, underscoring the show’s significance as a platform for industrial innovation, economic development, and global partnerships in the Southeast.

The Georgia Secretary of State, Brad Raffensperger joined industry leaders, global suppliers, and manufacturing professionals at SPS Atlanta 2025 on Tuesday, September 17, underscoring the state’s position as a hub for advanced manufacturing and digital automation.

During the visit, the Secretary of State toured the show floor at the Georgia World Congress Center, meeting with exhibitors and seeing firsthand the innovations driving the Southeast’s manufacturing economy. With more than 100 exhibiting companies, dozens of education sessions, and thousands of attendees from across the region and beyond, SPS Atlanta has quickly become a focal point for connecting industry and policy.

“There’s a reason we’re the number one state for business, and the advanced manufacturing sector should take a hard look at calling Georgia home,” said Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger. “I was pleased to see dozens of companies exploring opportunities here -and I know that this economic sector will be vital to the future of hardworking Georgians.”

SPS Atlanta 2025, held September 16–18, delivers three days of live demonstrations, networking, and solutions-driven education for manufacturers, engineers, and system integrators. Exhibitors showcase the latest in automation technology — from robotics and control systems to digitalization, AI, and cybersecurity solutions.

“Having the Secretary of State join us at SPS Atlanta is a tremendous honor and recognition of the vital role automation plays in Georgia’s economy and the broader Southeast manufacturing corridor,” said Constantin von Vieregge, President and CEO of Messe Frankfurt Inc. “This visit reflects the importance of bringing together policymakers, industry leaders, and innovators to strengthen the region’s competitiveness and accelerate smart manufacturing.” The presence of state leadership highlights the show’s impact as a platform not only for business exchange but also for shaping the future of industrial growth in Georgia and beyond.

Collaboratively organized by Messe Frankfurt Inc., Mesago Messe Frankfurt and The Association for Manufacturing Technology (AMT), SPS Atlanta delivers the essential elements that support the North American manufacturing community’s investment in automation technology.
